We are currently seeking to add a Permanent Full-time Seasonal Delivery Driver to our growing team. Applicant must have a valid Class 5 driving license with a clean driver’s abstract, experience towing trailers, and city driving knowledge. Title: Delivery Driver
Location: Edmonton, AB
Position Type: Permanent Full-time / Seasonal
Reporting To: Dispatch/ Dispatch Supervisor
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Delivering required materials to designations in a timely manner
- Pre-plan routes
- Proper tie-down of materials being transported
- Load, unload, and prep of materials
- Tow behind of hitch trailer, cement mixer, light plant, pump, etc.
- Daily housekeeping / Maintaining shop areas
- Inventory control
- Assisting other departments

Qualifications & Skills:

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner to meet production deadlines
- Perform pre-trip and walk around inspections prior to operating
- Operate dozer on surfaces to raise and lower terrain as specified by supervisor- ditching, sloping, levelling, ripping, clean up support; soil, rock and debris

Title: Mainline Excavator Operator

Reporting To: Underground Foreman
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner to meet production deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip/walk around inspections
- Check fluids daily and fill as required
- Read and interrupt ground markings to ensure proper depth to grade and alignment
- Responsible for placement of water, storm and sanitary sewer pipe in the excavation
- Trenching, excavating, ditching, slope grooming, stock piling, and grading to meet specs
- Confidently excavate in close proximity to ground personnel and existing utilities
- Lowering of materials for piping crew
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report/log any maintenance requirements
- Understand and follow direction from ground crew
- Follow directions from supervisor
- Follow all health and safety policies and conduct trench work that follows all OH&S requirements

- Ensure pipe is installed and embedded properly and on grade using proper practices and materials required – monitor, control and adjust as necessary
- Record trench and pipe grading via laser, level and rod or batter boards
- Inspection of pipe, materials and tools prior to all usage
- Rigging and lowering of all materials into ditch in a safe and proper manner
- Prepare and help laborers throughout the day, directing junior crew members
- Setting up track line
- Lining up service connection locations, CB’s, MH’s, etc.
- Act as the main watch point for hazards, ladders, slopes, etc.
